Hello everyone! The season has started at our tourist center, and as usual — there's a real chaos with schedules. We have 18 employees: reception, technical service, tour guides, drivers, some people work every other day, some only on weekends. And every time it's the same — someone mixes up the day, someone switches with someone else, but doesn't warn, and everything goes to hell. I saw that Shifton has a schedule generator for employees, and I'm wondering — is it worth trying? Does it make sense if everything changes very flexibly and unpredictably, and the team is not particularly tech-savvy? Will the system cope with this level of chaos, or is it only for "ideal" companies, where everything is according to the rules?

I've also heard a lot of good things about Shifton. We have a different system for now, but the schedule generator for employees is exactly what we're thinking about implementing closer to fall. It will be interesting to compare it with what we're using now.
