Okay, hear me out — I really regret not getting a proper desk sooner. For years I used a wobbly IKEA table from college, and I kept telling myself it was “good enough.” Fast forward to working from home full-time, and my back has basically filed a complaint with HR (aka me). I finally upgraded a few months ago, but man, I could’ve saved myself a lot of discomfort. Anyone else got that one thing they wish they’d bought way earlier?

100% feel you on the desk situation. I used to work at my kitchen counter with one of those sad folding chairs. Game changer was when I got a proper standing desk frame standing desk frame and built my own setup with a butcher block top. Honestly didn’t expect it to make such a difference, but now I can switch between sitting and standing depending on my mood (or how lazy I'm feeling that day). Should’ve done it ages ago.
Isn’t it wild how we’ll spend money on gadgets or random decor, but totally ignore the stuff we use every single day? I’ve noticed friends obsess over new coffee machines while still sleeping on saggy mattresses or working at hand-me-down desks. Priorities are weird sometimes, I guess.
