Regarding Microsoft Office promotions, they seem to happen more frequently around back-to-school season and the end of the fiscal year, from my experience. I also noticed more discounts during the holiday period in November/December. While waiting for a sale, if you're bored, a fun, quick game to kill time is Slope Game; it's surprisingly addictive!
